Our next Big Assed Maintenance Day is Jan 25th, we need lots of people out there to help work on a new extension that we want to have ready for our Anniversary on Feb 22nd.  We will have another BA Maintenance on Feb 8th in order to get this done. Frenchy will have lists of items that need to be taken care of on those days.  Let’s get a big crew out for them. As usual, our yummy lunch will be catered by Aaron of Sidewalk Salads.
We are so grateful for those that have joined and continue to support our club and hope that you feel you are getting something worthwhile in return.  Your membership donations help us fund our trail building adventures by letting us buy the tools, wood, pavers, and equipment that keep these trails running.  Same price this year as last $20.00 membership donation for Single members and $30.00 for Family. Click the Membership information button and choose from either PayPal or there is an option on the left that allows you to use your own credit card without going through PayPal.  There is a section that comes up when you are donating where you can put a note in to the recipient, please put any comments such as “family Membership” or Single in that area or if you would like us to use a different email address for your updates rather than the one that you use for PayPal. Or come see Frenchy at the tent on weekends.
Gone Riding’s Coconut Cup race at Virginia Key has been postponed until further notice. This is due to the organizer, Dave Berger, getting into a dirt bike accident. If you can help with the fund for Dave’s recovery, please visit this link: http://www.gofundme.com/DaveBergerRecovery
Our President Jerri is riding 100 miles in the Dolphin Cycling Challenge in early February.  The cause is near to her heart as she has a good friend being treated at UM/Sylvester right now for a rare cancer and the proceeds of the ride go to that research organization.  Please go to her fundraising site link below and read about the 2 rare cancers and their symptoms that have affected some close friends of hers in the past few years and if you can spare a few dollars to the cause, she would be very grateful.
